How do you stop weeds coming back?

Do you use weedkiller?
Only where it is the right tool, such as block paving, gravel drives and hard surfaces. In borders and around children and pets we weed by hand.
Can you deal with brambles and ivy?
Yes. Brambles and ivy are cut back, the roots dug out where possible and the waste removed. Established ivy on walls is cut at the base and stripped once it has died back.
